Our Story
Is it a girl? A boy? Well actually…IT'S A MOM! This is a gift for mom, because every time a baby is born, so is a mom. Birth is not only about having a child but celebrating strong, nurturing and powerful women. It’s A Mom promotes the respect, appreciation and care that all mothers deserve.
Our curated gift boxes provide practical, unique, luxurious and pampering products helping mothers postpartum. Now, with mom properly cared for, she can recover in a way that makes her feel happy and refreshed. Everyone wants to know how the baby is doing, but how about the mother? Rebekah's story
The day Rebekah gave birth to her son was the day she experienced the ultimate act of giving and unconditional love. The euphoric high of bringing a life into this world was like no other and something she would cherish for the rest of her life. The physical and emotional recovery – not so much.
Sent home after 33 stitches and a two day stay in the hospital, Rebekah lay in her bed overcome with emotion. How on earth was she to care 24/7 for a newborn baby if her physical pain was so intense that she could barely get out of bed to go to the bathroom, let alone go up and down the 3 flights of stairs in her house?!
At that exact moment, as if connected by a sixth sense, Rebekah’s close friend called to ask how she was feeling (really feeling!). Rebekah didn’t sugar coat it, “The pain is unbearable!” In a matter of seconds, her friend magically appeared and like Mary Poppins, opened her bag and out came soothing witch hazel pads, frozen ice packs, nipple cream, protein bars, candles and lavender oil (and a large pot of chicken soup for good measure). She turned on spa music, lit candles and massaged Rebekah’s neck and even her toes with lavender oil until Rebekah finally fell asleep.
When Rebekah awoke, she felt like a new person – refreshed, rejuvenated, loved and cared for. Mother’s around the world need to heal, feel appreciated and truly celebrated in order for them to be able to nurture and give the proper care to her own child. ℐ𝓉’𝓈 𝒜 ℳℴ𝓂 does just that!
Then it hit her…all of her experience into one beautifully carefully curated box! And the rest is history - ℐ𝓉’𝓈 𝒜 ℳℴ𝓂 was born! Because after all, when a baby is born, a mother is born!
Through Rebekah’s journey and research creating ℐ𝓉’𝓈 𝒜 ℳℴ𝓂, to her surprise, she quickly learned that tons of the products used every day were actually full of dangerous chemicals that could potentially harm our little bumps, our babies and in turn ourselves. Rebekah dedicated herself to finding the safest, most effective pregnancy/postpartum products using paraben free, organic and clean products ensuring healthy pregnancies and mommy’s around the world!
ℐ𝓉’𝓈 𝒜 ℳℴ𝓂 exists in order to help mothers feel their best physically, spiritually and emotionally in order for them to just be present in the moment with your family because that is what it’s all about. The here and the now.
Rebekah graduated with a BA in Marketing and Graphic design. One of her most inspirational jobs she had was working on a campaign with Dr. Arletty Pinel on maternal health and infant mortality with the UNFPA.
